Indian vegetarian cuisine
India is well-known for its culinary extravaganza, with a wide spectrum of regional cuisines hardly found in such variety in any other country. What is more, the majority of these delicacies is prepared on a strictly vegetarian basis, much attention is paid to the medical attributes and healing effects of the various ingredients. In the Hindu temples, the offering of specially prepared food (bhoga) is part of the daily liturgies, and the service in the temple kitchen rests in the hands of Brahman priests specifically trained in the art of food preparation.
Our course offers an introduction into the art of preparing traditional Indian vegetarian cuisine, and demonstrated how to prepare selected dishes in a simple manner by using easily available ingredients in such a way as to obtain mouthwatering results.
